Today Winnie and I decided to venture out via TTC to the Toronto Zoo.
It was a long weekend, and the weather was super nice. We walked approx 19km (tracked via GPS on my phone) through the entire Zoo and saw as many animals, mammals, insects, reptiles, etc as we could! I took a ton of pics and they are uploaded for you to view here

My Dad came up and stayed with me for a couple days. We stayed fairly busy. I took pictures the one day we went to Casa Loma. It was pretty neat to see how big the place was, and the history behind it. I only took mylittle camera with me sothe pictures aren’t as nice as they should be. Maybe next time.
Check out the pics here!

Tonight Winnie and I were relaxing at my place, watching a movie when we started to see a ton of flashes from outside. It turned out to be a severe thunder storm. The lightning was so frequent that I was able to easily capture lightning shots with my camera from my living room. Winnie and I quickly grabbed a bag to cover the camera and head up to the rooftop patio, and hide under the Gazebo and take some unobstructed shots from the roof. Surprisingly, there were 3-4 other people already up there just enjoying the thunder storm.
Tripod locked in place, and camera settings dialed in, I began snapping 30 second exposures of the Toronto skyline, and was surprised with this fantastic shot of lightning streaking across the skyline.
